Today, I am embarking on a week-long tour organized by Beyond the Gorillas Experience (BGE). After navigating the bustling Nyabugogo area, our safari car is meandering towards Shyorongi.
This stretch of the highway is very steep. As we ascend higher and higher, the city behind us looks like an artwork on a huge billboard. That is Kigali’s way of saying goodbye.
I haven’t seen our itinerary yet. Like you, I have no idea where I am going. All I know is that I will be visiting one attraction after another throughout the week. This time, my activities, stopovers, hosts and locations will stir an element of surprise.
It seems like we are headed to the Northern Province. Maybe our destination is somewhere in the west. As I said, I have no idea. Wherever I end up, you will be the first to know.
As usual, I will be sharing my experiences on this blog. I will be dropping my honest observations without any promotional hype. Stay tuned.
